Child Placement and Child Contact
Matters relating to child placement and child contact arrangements are often complex and require expert evaluation.
Article 8 of the European Convention of Human Rights (1989) refers to the right to family life; however, there is no suggestion under the Convention that the child’s interests and rights should be overridden by the parents’ demand for contact or custody,
It is acknowledged that whenever possible children should maintain a level of contact with birth family or significant others in their lives if their birth family is unable to provide consistent long-term care.”
Our team is frequently asked to assess these issues in the context of both public and private law proceedings
“I am writing to thank you for the Section 7 Report you prepared for Cardiff County Court. The report was very thorough and most helpful to both mine and the Court’s enquiries, and was, in my professional opinion, of an excellent standard.”
